In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer. ~Albert Camus
I didn't know when I was in my long struggle with my anxiety that I would ever see my old sunshine again. It was very hard times and they lasted way too long. Seeing the sun rise again from the deepest parts of my being and up high enough that I couldn't miss it was surreal. Once I saw it, felt it and remembered what it was like to live in that sunlight...I didn't go back. I worked just as long and hard on coming up and out of it as I did letting my self fall down in it. I'm on my way on this yellow brick road that the sun shines the way for me to see and I'm gonna keep on following this beautiful road!
The moral of this quote and story is: we all have the right and ability to live our best life. Go find the sunshine and know you deserve the peace and happiness that follows.
